Backpack Sizing Chart

Pack size is based on two measurements: torso length and waist (hip belt) circumference.

How to Measure

Waist: Measure around your waist just above the top of the hip bones, roughly two fingers below the belly button.

Torso: Measure from the bony bump at the base of the neck (C7 vertebra) down the spine to the point behind your belly button.

Military Light Frame (MLF)

Military Light Frame (MLF)

Because the mission demands better.

The Military Light Frame (MLF) is built from decades of pack innovation to solve a problem every soldier knows: heavy loads that grind you down. Anyone who has put miles under a USMC Pack system has felt the strain—poor load transfer, slipping belts, and frames that fight against you instead of working with you.

The MLF was designed to eliminate those pain points and failures, delivering unmatched comfort, stability, and durability—while still compatible with those legacy rucks.

High-strength composite stays, and a laminate panel creates a robust yet responsive frame that flexes with your movement, transferring weight efficiently to reduce fatigue. The Redirect waist belt secures the load over your hips and stays in place, while the Bolstered Ventilation and Stability (BVS) system keeps the pack in place when worn over armor. Combined with our Futura Yoke for a dialed fit, the result is greater comfort—with significant weight savings over legacy frames.

  • Lightweight design:
    • Weighs 1 lb. less than its predecessor, the NICE Frame.
    • Achieved through advanced materials, construction methods, and reduced belt profile.
  • Compatible with:
    • USMC FILBE Pack
    • ALICE Pack
    • MYSTERY RANCH ROUS, RATS, MOUNTAIN RUCK, OVERLOAD, 6500
  • Enhanced shock absorption and tortional flexibility, the rigid yet dynamic frame system moves with you for responsive performance under load.
  • Frame construction includes:
    • Grid structure comprised of four vertical and three horizontal members utilizing our strongest composite stays.
    • A minimized fabric panel using stiffer laminate material at connection points.
    • Shock absorption and flexibility.
  • Futura Yoke:
    • Micro-adjusts to torso length.
    • Provides proper stand-off between back and frame for a customized fit.
    • Designed for optimized function over common body armor and plate carrier systems, including MSV Gen II, IMTV, PC Gen II & III, MBAV, and Crye JPC 2.0.
  • BVS – Bolstered Ventilation and Stability system
    • Ensures a stable, secure fit over body armor.
    • Removable for mission-specific adaptability.
  • Redirect waist belt system:
    • Secures with a natural pull-forward motion for faster, less effort tightening over armor and delivers the leverage needed to manage the heaviest rucks.
    • Patented construction conforms to the hips, effectively transferring and distributing weight, and eliminates slippage over the hips.
    • A lower profile design eliminates the pressure of body armor against the body.
    • Waist belt can be folded back when not in use.
